Dragonair last had an A320 refit over mid-2014, where they changed their seat covers to the new economy seat covers seen on their other fleet.

I was scrolling through Instagram today, and I saw pictures of the new Dragonair Airbus A320 seat.

What are my first impressions?
- The design is definitely sleeker, rounder and less bulky
- The seats don’t seem as well cushioned, which makes sense given that flights on the A320 are shorter
- The headrest seems to “jut” out of the seat, which looks slightly weird
- The overhead bins are now pivot bins instead of normal opening bins
I’m dying to fly the new economy class sometime soon!
