British Airways has long has a pretty bad hard product.

Well, according to AusBT, British Airways has leaked its next Club World seat that they will roll out on the A350.
The seat is much like the older counterparts, dubbed “Club World Mk. III”. What’s different is that like an Apex Suite, you can now slip out without disturbing the person adjacent to your only way out, whose feet are now encased in an ottoman. Head privacy also looks better.

There are a lot of details that the diagram misses, that I would be interested in.
- Does the window/middle seat still get one of those fold down ottomans? Do they have an ottoman at all?
- Is the partition going to be down or up during takeoff or landing?
- How is the head privacy at the aisle going to be – is it going to be just as bad as the old seat?
Bottom Line
British Airways has pretty good potential with this new product, and I hope they consider the above questions to create a good product. If they can get away with a 2-4-2 product and have everyone love it, it’ll just make them all the more successful, in my opinion.
